Origin
The Anthurium plowmanii 'Storm', also known as the Flamingo Flower, originates from the tropical rainforests of South and Central America. They belong to the Araceae family. This plant species evolved on the damp and shady forest floor, hence their preference for a moist environment indoors.

Characteristics
The Anthurium plowmanii 'Storm' is known for its unusual and striking appearance. This plant has a wide variety of leaf shapes, ranging from heart-shaped to elongated, and has distinctive curled edges. The leaf has deep, wavy ridges and a glossy, dark green colour. The flowers are less striking and are typically yellowish or greenish in colour.

Care
Give your Anthurium andraeanum the perfect tropical treatment by placing it in a warm spot with indirect light and high humidity. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging. During spring and summer, boost its growth and flowering by feeding it monthly with a general liquid houseplant fertiliser.
