Origin
The Marginatocereus marginatus, also known as the Organ Pipe cactus, originates from regions of Mexico. The plant primarily grows in desert-like areas and mountainous regions, where the climate is predominantly dry and hot.

Characteristics
The Organ Pipe cactus is characterised by its tall, cylindrical trunks that grow in single or multiple clusters. It can grow up to about three metres high. The plant produces white or pink flowers in the summer months. A distinguishing feature of the Marginatocereus marginatus is the deep grooves along the trunks, giving the plant its characteristic appearance.

Care
Relatively low maintenance and adaptable to a range of conditions, this cacti thrives with plenty of sunlight, and benefits from the soil fully drying out between waterings.
