The Livistonia rotundifolia is a tropical type of palm originally from Southeast Asia. This plant can be found in countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. This palm is also known as the Fan Palm.

Characteristics
The Livistonia rotundifolia is characterised by its round, fan-shaped leaves and a strong, somewhat tall trunk. The leaves are bright green and shiny and can reach up to 2 meters in height in optimal conditions. It is a popular houseplant due to its robust nature and attractive appearance.

Care
The care for the Livistonia rotundifolia requires a bright, indirect light source without direct sunlight. The potting soil should remain slightly moist and must never dry out completely. It is important to regularly spray and fertilise the plant, primarily during the growth seasons in the spring and summer.
