In the wild, the Philodendron Red Beauty often grows in the shadow of larger trees.

Characteristics
This is particularly known for its large, shiny leaves that have a deep, rich red color. The leaves have a wide, oval shape and are thick and leathery in texture. As a mature plant, the Red Beauty can reach a height of 90 cm and can spread out broadly with leaves that can be up to 30 cm long.

Care
The care for this Philodendron is relatively simple. The plant prefers a location with light to partial shade. Direct sunlight is discouraged as this can cause leaf burn. The plant requires regular watering, but it's important to ensure that the soil can dry in between waterings to prevent root rot. Lastly, the plant thrives best at regular room temperature and high humidity, akin to its tropical origin.
