Origin
The Pleomele, also known as Dracaena reflexa, originally hails from Madagascar and other Indian Ocean islands, where it thrives in both rainforests and semi-deserts. In the wild, this plant can grow into large shrubs. It was introduced to other warm climates several years ago and has since become popular as a houseplant in colder regions, including Europe.

Characteristics
Pleomele is characterised by its glossy, dark green leaves, which grow spirally at the ends of the strong, woody stems. The leaves strikingly reflect the light, giving the plant an elegant appearance. The impressive growth height, which can reach up to 6 meters in the wild, is usually limited to about 2 meters indoors. It is also characterised by the small, white flowers in clusters, which can be easily overlooked due to their modest size.

Care
This plant requires relatively little care and is a popular choice for beginners. The plant prefers full sun or partial shade. We advise watering drsacaena moderealey, allwoing the top few inches of soil to dry out between waterings.
