Aralia (polyscias) fabian in Baq Terrazzo

Origin
The Aralia, or Polyscias Fabian, originally comes from the regions of Oceania and Asia. This plant species is primarily concentrated in the regions of Tahiti and the South Pacific. The exotic species forms an important part of the tropical flora in these areas. Despite its exotic origin, this plant species is now spread worldwide and is part of many landscape and interior designs because of its unique physical characteristics.

Characteristics
Polyscias fabian, a member of the Araliaceae family, is known for its distinctive dark, almost purple-tinted leaves that add an exciting aesthetic feature. The plant usually forms into a small shrub or tree with a comparatively large peak. The leaves are large and circular, with a coarse texture and a glossy surface. Along the trunk, smaller leaves or branches can grow, contributing to the screen-like structure of the plant.

Care
Polyscias fabian is relatively easy to care for, but, like other plant species, it has specific requirements. Although they can survive in penumbral shadow, this plant thrives best with bright, indirect light. They prefer moist soil and high humidity, therefore we recommend regularly spraying the leaves.
