The Musa 'Dwarf Cavendish' originally comes from Southeast Asia and was introduced to Europe in the nineteenth century. Since then, the plant has become a popular kind in living rooms due to its compact size and easy maintenance.

Characteristics
The Musa 'Dwarf Cavendish', also known as the Dwarf Banana, is a tropical indoor plant that can grow up to 2 meters high. This plant has large, shiny green leaves that provide a real tropical appearance. The plant has the ability to produce small edible bananas in ideal conditions.

Care
The Musa 'Dwarf Cavendish' thrives best in warm temperatures and high humidity. The plant must be watered at least once a week, depending on the humidity of the environment. It is recommended to fertilise the plant weekly in the summer months. Direct sunlight is also not advisable for this plant; even partial shade is sufficient. Repotting this plant can take place in the spring, if necessary.
